My 1 1/2 year is constantly finding hair on the floor and eating it!?

Ok, it sounds really mean but.... to keep your child safe. This is what I would do. Only because it is a little dangerous eating hair. I would get one of those little child enclosures. I usually would never really use one but here it is.... I would let the child get hold of the hairs, when the child tried to eat them, I would tell him or her that its not ok. Then I would put the child in the enclosure and tell them that they aren't coming out if they are going to go around the house eating the hairs. Tell the child its BAD and DANGEROUS. Only keep the child in the child enclosure for maybe 5 minutes and let them out again. If they do it again with the hairs, start over again with the enclosure. It's only like a safe time out. Just make sure within the enclosure the floor is hair free or it would defeat the purpose. And also make sure the enclosure is a child approved, safe one. Kind of like the one the children are in on the show Rugrats. If you have ever seen it.
