What are some great activity kits?

im looking for a great activity kit on amazon.there are so many to look through i just dont want to look anymore.im look for something that you build or make something or maybe grow something.im not into oragami and iv done crystal growing and iv done the paint things for stained gl.i dont like knitting or sewing.i dont want legos.i want something with easy directions that is made for a kid but not to young a kid.it would be for me but some directions for 12 year old kids and up are to complicated.i want something not to little kidish but something i a 25 year old woman would like and could do easyly.i dont want anything i draw or paint by number ether. tell me the name of the product.the exact name from the bran to what it is like say it is smithsonian crystal growing kit.you got what i mean now.iv used that kit kinda sucked so tell em what would be agreat activty kit on amazon to buy
