Depressed and guilty?

ok so me and my friend went to the mall last night and my friend started steeling things and of corse i had to too. we got caught and i feel really guilty bcuz my parents did not find out and they think i am a relly good kid...im feeling depressed and relly guilty i dont want to tell my parents this bcuz theyll be relly mad but i dont kno wut to do ... we payed for the stuff and got kicked out of the mall...and acually all we stole were candy ... i kno its wrong and im not going to do it again but what can i do?
