What to wear to my baptism?

Today is my baptism (yay!) and I'm not sure what to wear. It's not full immersion. The church said I could wear normal clothes and then after I get baptized I switch to my white baptism dress and such. What should I wear for my normal clothes? Someone said it should be symbolic so I should wear dark colors and after I get baptized I'd be wearing white so as to show my transformation whereas someone else said my normal clothes should be all white. Which would be better and why? I'm Catholic by the way if it makes any difference :) Thank you very much!
