What do you think about the racial comments Bernard Hopkins made about Donovan McNabb?

Here is a question that I have and something I never quite understood. What the heck is "not black enough"? I don't really like to get into race that much in these contexts but I will say this. The color of someones skin does not determine their lifestyle or their personality. I think our country has made tremendous strides over the years to diversify by allowing legal (and illegal but that is a different story) immigrants to come to the U.S. Our immigration policies (the legal policies that is) is one of our country's strengths because we allow different people with different backgrounds to live here. Bernard Hopkins is a fool and obviously he has issues that he needs to deal with. Donovan McNabb (although not the best QB in the NFL anymore) has probably taken more heat and verbal abuse than any athlete in the NFL. I have heard nasty things said about Ben Rothlisberger, Mike Vick, but McNabb is taking shots unnecessarily and I don't think he deserves it. He is a cly player, and I don't understand the vitriol that comes from people like Hopkins. My thought on this is, lets leave race out of the equation, and focus on more important things.
