Is the water going over Angel Falls in Venezuela purified when it reaches the bottom of the cliff?

It is already clean at the top, and there is no sources of smoke nearby, so it should be pretty pure when it reach the bottom. Besides, is it a great picure to pretend to be drinking from the highest fountain in the world? :)
